Send them a paper invoice.  It will cost them more to process.  It will 
probably also cost you more...

Explain to them (nicely, if possible), that an EDI invoice will save them 
money, since they won't have to process the invoices manually.  Then tell them 
that you are not interested in giving them the additional allowance.

If they are going to pay you faster, then it _may_ be worth the additional cost 
to you. 

There may be a 3rd party involved, which is charging them to process your 
invoices...

You obviously misunderstood the term.  When they mention 'Partnership", you 
always have to ask 'How much is it going to cost' ;-(

How about a name?  (or send it privately...)  I'm not shy when it comes to 
exposing this kind of BS.
