I can't speak to TLW, but the way I would do it is to load the rows that are to go into a spreadsheet into a SQL Server database, then export it to Excel format using SQL Server's Data Transformation Services. OTOH, if you export a flat-file tab delimited, Excel will directly import that without the "Test To Columns" step, but everything will go in as General data type.
