xmlLinguist _may_ be a fit for you, as it will do what you need. I say "may" because it might seem like overkill, depending on what your other processes are, plus this is Windows dependant. xmlLinguist is a simple Text-to-Xml translator, so you can translate your 830 into XML, apply a stylesheet, and then using xmlLinguist, translate it back into CSV. All of this can be automated with VBScript, as demonstrated in one of our tutorials at http://www.sysonyx.com/xml-to-edi-850 . Or if you'd rather, SysOnyx is working on an EAI that can automate this process easier than using a VBScript, though we are in the early development stages now (see http://www.sysonyx.com/Products/xmlLynx/ for an idea of what we're working on). But again, this is really a "it depends" sort of answer. The best solution is probably seeing if your current EDI system can do this already. One thing I hate seeing in companies is multiple EDI platforms (and I see this a lot). It makes maintenance very difficult and a pain to train new guys on.
