I have six or seven active clients for whom I develop and maintain EDI
'systems.'
All use components from multiple vendors - even for 'same function operations'
- but in almost all cases all the components are
integrated into a 'one-click make it easy for the operator' thing.
If it works and makes economic sense, why not? Style points might be nice, but
they add nothing to the bottom line.
