Correct, move the msg flat file, and call startRFC to load it into SAP
(supplying the filename and location (plus more info) in the call.

Carl are you talking about Idoc status? Translation status, comm status
etc. In our TLE package status are created
automatically and pushed to SAP either via ALE or through an rfc, the
program that is called is EDI_STATUS_INCOMING.

I also have a Unix job that creates status messages for non-EDI file that
I create for outbound IDOCs. I use an start rfc to
push these files into SAP.

Hello group,

I running GIS 4.1 on windows and sending back status messages to a
directory on SAP. Can anyone tell me what SAP program is setup to
process the status msg automatically when it hit the directory?
