One is Global Healthcare Exchange, very popular with hospitals - http://home.ghx.com/Default.asp. The other is GXS, a "general purpose" VAN - http://www.gxs.com. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of William Wilson Sent: Tuesday, November 07, 2006 1:06 PM To: Nancy Plume Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [EDI-L] Van interconnects Yes we have many clients going to our VAN GXS to sterling commerce via an interconnect. Be advised, it is not the most reliable. I would see how "in bed" your customer is with GXS and see if they would consider changing to (if they aree new to EDI) or at least setting up an account with Sterling Commerce. GXS has always been a bit on the flakey side as far as connectivity goes. I have worked with them for years and nothing ever really seems to change down there in Bethesda. We have no desire to use GHX. Can anyone give me a simple 'YES' or 'NO' as to if we can do an interconnect between Sterling VAN and GHX?
