I have a request from Our client, a large Networking company who is
looking for IT Analyst for EDI or EDI Analyst for Milpitas, CA.This
is a contract position for about 6 months with a possibility of
extension.
Job Description
Provide on-going support and development of EDI mapping for worldwide
EDI client community.
The responsibilities of this position include:
Day to day functional and technical support for the various process
flows (QTC, F2D, M2O, etc)
Duty pager support,
EDI technical specification and mapping development,
Coordination with Trading Partners.
As a key member of the EDI central team this person will provide EDI
technical support to the EDI clients, such as the ERP application
teams. This individual will also work on-boarding activities for
various functional users groups across the enterprise.
This position requires:
EDI Translator, TIE Commerce Spedi*Tran experience
knowledge of the EDI standards for transactions:
ANSI X12 214, UN/EDIFACT APERAK, BANSTA, DEBMUL, INVOIC, PAYMUL,
REMADV, TAXCON.
Good understanding of the following business applications, such as:
Manufacturing Supply Chain,
Logistics,
Communication skills to manage stakeholders, facilitate
meetings/sessions, business requirements gathering, info sharing
Documentation skills to create data flow diagrams, business problem
statements, mock-ups, etc.
Oracle and Unix skills will be a plus.
