Hello,
My organization is currently running Gentran Basic v6.0, which is has been
sunset by Sterling. Sometime this year, we will be upgrading our mainframe
operating system to zOS 1.7. Obviously, Sterling has no plans to certify
v6.0 in this version of zOS. I am wondering if anyone out there is running
v6.0 in this environment. We are planning to upgrade Gentran, but I'm just
wondering how concerned we should be about the operating system. We're
already on zOS 1.7 in our test environment, and everything seems fine, but
I'm wondering if anyone has producion experience they can share.
