We have MAS200, but it sure doesn't do ASNs. It doesn't even do warehousing
or shipping! You must have a bunch of modifications or have many other
products integrated with it. :)

Well since someone has all the answers. If you can't have the invoice before

the ASN like you can in MAS90/200/500 as my company is currently doing. Then

the next thing would be to set the Sales order number that is created from
the inbound 850 match the invoice number that is created. This way when you
send the ASN it can pull the Sales order number. We have done this when the
product is sent from the warehouse but the client enters the 856 from the
information on a 945 document sent from the warehouse. I hope this helps the

pigs to fly.

Doh! It has nothing to do with his translator. If the warehouse
creates the asn during the day, and the
truck leaves ... and the invoices are created in a batch mode at 2am ...
then they can't be married together
unless you hold the asn. Let's assume he's an SAP shop. Let's assume
you want to change the invoice
creation process for Walmart to be near-real-time, and you want to
change the asn process to marry
them together. Let's assume you have lots of money, because that's what
it will take. And let's assume
that you can get the users to buy in, and get management approval. Now
let's assume you can get the
clock to stand still (the conversion is already late) and you can get
pigs to fly.

What do you do next?
