Did anyone ask Wal-Mart if this was an absolute requirement? 

I have found their support staff to be responsive and reasonable on the
testing requirements, unlike other mass merchants who are real hard to
deal with.

Just my .02.

Wrong!  You are representing your employer, a software solution provider
who sells a bolt-on that provides added-value to a canned solution.  And
you have over 80 customers with this solution (see, i was paying
attention).  If you don't want to play by the rules (see below), then
