We are currently running GENTRAN:Server 6.0 for UNIX.We are
experiencing X.12
enveloping issues with one of our outbound TPs as follows:
We are sending vendor payment transactions (820s and 831s) to our
bank.
Our bank subsequently returns an 824 (application advise) indicating
status
(success/failure) of the incoming 820/831 set. In order for the
Bank's
process to recognize the 820/831set, the 820/831 documents must be
in the
same ISA envelope (820 first followed by corresponding 831). This
envelope
structure is required by bank in order for them to generate the
proper 824
response.
Standard Gentran enveloping creates an ISA for each document even
thoughthey are both addressed to the same ISA receiver ID.
Question: Has anyone encountered a similar GENTRAN:Server enveloping
issue?I have used envelope command also. But I'm not able to get
proper output.
who would be willing to provide us advice/tips on the
consequences/issues
Thanks in advance
Anandhi.
