No comments. Just a question. What is the business reason for moving
to 5010?

Subject: [EDI-L] X12 standards version 4010 ==> 5010

We are still on ANSI ASC X12 standards version 4010 for some reason and
want to go to version 5010.
We now only do 810, 820, 850, and related 997 transactions - pretty
vanilla stuff.

We use a typical mapping/translation software package (TrustedLink) and
was wondering if we could just go in and change the version/release from
4010 to 5010 and if there'd be any problems associated with doing that.
I don't think there'd be any that would necessitate us testing some
transmissions with any trading partners.

Comments?

Thanks,
Walter
