Walter - These comments only pertain if you are using TLi. We upgraded our maps from 4010 to 4030 several years ago, so my memory is a bit vague. However, I believe that we used Save As to save an existing 4010 map as a 4030 map, and I believe that the TLi software produced a report indicating any exceptions, i.e., 4010 mapping details that could not be positively reproduced in the 4030 map. The process was pretty painless, but I know we still arranged to receive some test transactions before moving the new maps to production. If you are occasionally bringing new trading partners on-line, you could use that process as an opportunity to test the new maps, given that you will need to do testing anyway.
