Hello Gail, If you are using TLI the Purge program has an option for archiving. You just specify to archive and give it a library to archive to. Prior to version 6.1.3 it would save the user spaces into that library. After 6.1.3 it converts them to physical files before saving to the archive library. You could run the purge on a regular basis and save the archive library off to some other media. Tor

I am looking for input about what data to save and how to go about setting this up, and the technical aspects of using or replicating user spaces. Although I am a programmer, I have not used user spaces and do not know the implications of replicating them. I am not very experienced with EDI and do not know if there are any legal requirements about keeping data. Our EDI coordinator quit a few weeks ago and because I was the backup I think it is assumed I somehow absorbed the knowledge and experience when he left. I have since learned he will not be replaced, but there was not a lot of communication about the overall set up, and all I did was handle minor issues that arose during the daily processes. Can anyone share what they are doing with Trusted Link or point me to documentation that discusses pros and cons about what to save or purge?
