OAGi does not have a BOD for the 997 that I am aware of. They have many
BODS that perform the function of the 824.

OAGi has a very liberal extension mechanism called a Overlay. It is
possible that a OAGIS user has built a overlay for the 997 based on a
OAGIS Noun but not submitted it to OAGi for inclusion in their specs.

I just checked AIAG's available BODS and do not see that they have a
equivalent 997 either. You might check with the retail automotive
industry group STAR at www.starstandards.org. While OAGIS has many BODS
for B2B, early implementations are for A2A where something like the 997
isn't needed because the apps are internal to the company where they are
exchanged.

STAR is one of the few U.S. based industry groups using OAGIS for B2B.
There is light use by a few AIAG members.

There are several versions of OAGIS. The 7.x versions are DTD based.
There is OAGIS 8.0, their first XML based version, and OAGIS 9.x
versions based on UN/CEFACT'S Core Component Technical Spec. Last week
OAGi released OAGIS 9.2 for public review.

You might get more information from the OAGIS User Group at
