Automotive customers such as Chrysler or Delphi use the 830 & 862 together and
will send an 850 if they create a new PO in their system for a new part #.
Additionally, they will send 860 PO changes if they change the price on a PO
already setup.

Subject: [EDI-L] 850 vs 862

Hello all,
does anyone use the EDI transactions 850 and 862 interchangeably?
If we were to derive a PO out of 862, what factors do we have to consider?

Please share your thoughts on this topic.
Thanks in advance for your help

Cheers
NB.
