Case in point..... still on my active client list are two (2) separate firms with whom I have gone at least one three-year stretch without a call. Longest current 'no activity' is about one year, with two different (from above) clients. I'm hardly an unbiased source, but I don't see any way these firms could possibly justify keeping EDI talent on the payroll, not even allowing for the inevitable skills atrophy which accompanies lack of use.
