check out the top three posters (at that time) - ken steele, rachael and uncle bill. I can find my posts as early as 1997 in the google archive.
you could read the posts to usenet group bit.listserv.edi-l from any usenet server with a client (such as agent) or have them sent to your email. there was another flavor of edi-l that was hosted on a private mailing list server. it looks as if in september or october 1998 the server itself started to have issues and in august 2000 we did a conversion to yahoo. you may also remember this: "You are viewing the bit.listserv.edi-l newsgroup; you're missing most of the EDI-L traffic this way because of a broken gateway, and most, if not all, subscribers to EDI-L will never see any messages you post here. If you subscribe to the mailing list instead, you're guaranteed to see everything. For instructions on signing up, or for viewing the EDI-L archives, please see the "Resources" link at our Web-site at http://www.foresightcorp.com/." Does anyone know when the original edi-l list first started? I joined in 1994, and the link http://groups.google.com/group/bit.listserv.edi-l/about seems to indicate a start at the beginning of 1992.
