This is entirely dependent on whatever you're using to create the XML.
If you tell us what that is, someone might be able to help you.
FYI - XML/DTD basics - PCDATA is "parsed character data", which is most
often exactly what you want for most element text content. CDATA
sections are for including text that you want conveyed exactly as is and
is not to be parsed, such as when you may have markup in the content of
a data element. I seriously doubt that's what you want to use.
