I am an IT recruiter for TEKsystems. I have a client in Morristown, TN that is
in need of an EDI developer. They are currently implementing SAP globally, and
need an experienced EDI developer to sit onsite and help with this
implementation. On a day to day basis, this person will be working with a
internal Global SAP and EDI team. They will be focusing on the implementation of
SAP and developing with EDI tools. They will also be interacting with mid-level
and upper level management during this project. Listed below are some of the
technologies our client is expecting a potential candidate to be familiar with.
ABAP Reporting & Programming
SAP ECC6.0 using Best Practice Business all in One configuration
EDI Experience using EDIFACT, ANSI X12,VDA, XML formats for a global
implementation project
EDI Middleware (Ideally REIMS Secure Commerce Server)
IDOCS knowledge
Experience of Net Weaver Business Client.
Smartforms and any BI experience would be useful
Also any SAP Basis skills (unlikely but would be a bonus)
SQL Server
This is a great opportunity for someone to get global exposure to SAP and EDI
tools and on board with a huge project covering 4 continents. This is also a
long term contract with great stability working for the largest chain/link
manufacturor in the country.
