I know about change pointers however for various reasons I do not want to process the ORDCHG automatically instead sales agreed to receive a notification email in case the customers requests a change. That being said, generating the "change" ORDRSP is not the problem, its content is. > Now whether or not that would set any change flags in the generated > IDoc would be a matter for testing but the Action field of header > segment E1EDK01 does contain qualifiers that flags changes > to the header or item. Yes, that was my first guess but apparently SAP doesn't update the ACTION field in "change" order responses (confirmed by their support folks). > If your flags are not automatically set thru this change process, > you may need to write a little user exit code when your ORDRSP is > generated after a change. I guess I have to bite the bullet and analyse the documents change history and then modify the IDoc myself. I just thought (hoped) there might be a more convenient way to achieve this. Thanks a lot.
