Your ultimate test (case) is if it passes testing and meets the customer specs...
1. Completing your own personal testing during (map) development, 2. Submitting and pass testing with your Trading Partner or 3rd party test company. 3. For inbound EDI, the final test comes when you move into production and start receiving qualifiers that were not part of the tests and/or EDI Specs. If you are actually looking to build a test case, you may want to check with who you work with and modify an existing 856 test case to meet the requirements of the new Trading Partner. I have some experience with setting up and executing test cases, but wouldn't begin to offer direction in this forum... Test cases are at least partially defined by each company's processes, but in the end, the ultimate test or question is does it meet your trading partner specs & requirements AND especially for 856's, did your customer receive it on time? Thanks, Ken ________________________________ From: raveendhar <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Sun, March 13, 2011 4:22:19 AM Subject: [EDI-L] Hi..
