Here is the top level description for this opening: The Business To Business (B2B) Technical Analyst is responsible for 1) ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the daily processes of the company’s B2B systems (including Electronic Data Interchange), 2) support of internal users and external trading partners, 3) testing and implementation of new documents, partners, and software/standards versions, and 4) functional system support of the application software and interfaces used by the team. This includes situational analysis and decision making regarding system errors and failures as well as interpretation of business and B2B issues to determine appropriate action. This position is focused on technical and functional support of B2B application systems in addition to managing relationships with internal and external customers. Knowledge/skillsets: • Strong interpersonal skills; • Strong analytical skills; must be detail-oriented • Problem-prevention and problem-solving skills • Experience with EDI and/or B2B systems • Working knowledge of the ANSI X 12 standards • Experience with EDI Mapping and interfaces • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office • Excellent follow-through and follow-up skills • Ability to use sound judgment to make independent decisions while assessing business risk. • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Conflict resolution skills • Professionalism in communicating with internal and external users • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • A strong sense of urgency and focus; must be able to prioritize and multi-task (there will be many interruptions) • Efficient time-management skills • Ability to navigate Internet sites for research and analysis • Inovis TLi 400 (Trusted Link), BizManager, and SAP software experience preferred • AS2 or MFT experience preferred • Retail systems experience preferred If the XLS didn't come through or for questions and/or more information , please contact the recruiter directly..
