Adept Engineering is seeking a senior Sterling Integrator GIS engineer. The SI
engineer should have BPML and Map development as well as SFG File Routing setup
experience. The engineer should be able to demonstrate hands on experience
administering and supporting production SI/SFG environments.
Primary Responsibilities
-Develop new- and modify- existing business processes using BPML,
-Build new and maintain existing SFG file transfers,
-Develop, test, and maintain SI maps,
-Maintain data transfers between middleware (SI) and SAP ,
-Use and manipulate process data using XPath,
-Develop and maintain SQL queries,
-On-going production support,
-SI administration
Required Skills
-SI/GIS version 4.3 or higher,
-SFG version 2.0 or higher,
-Business process modeling language (BPML),
-Mailboxing and B2B Protocols (FTP, SFTP, AS2, HTTP, HTTP/s),
-SI/GIS mapping and translation,
-SAP delivery and polling using RFC,
-SI Connect Direct Server Adapter,
-Process Data, XML, and XPath,
-Unix and Linux,
-SQL,
Preferred Skills
-Knowledge of database concepts or database administration desired.
-Knowledge of B2B protocols, load balancers, and firewall concepts
-Knowledge of data translation standards (X12, EDIFACT, Flat file, and JDBC),
-Hands on shell scripting experience,
-Experience using version control system like CVS or SVN,
-Hands on experience with a programming language like C, C++, or Java
-Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills,
-Strong oral and written communication skills,
Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology related discipline is preferred

3+ years of business process- and map- development experience in SI/GIS
Some experience with Sterling File Gateway
