These same tools may or may not allow the ISA and GS segments to come into
the map. GENTRAN AND GIS make it optional. I am not sure about the others.

Subject: RE: [EDI-L] ISA values' mapping

Vijay,

For most EDI mapping tools, the ISA and GS are set to Global Values and
would be set/coded to populate from the map during translation.

Hope that helps.

Subject: [EDI-L] ISA values' mapping

      Hi All,

Does anyone know how to map ISA header values to flat file.

I tried by adding ISA, GS and ST segments in the map and attempted to map to

flat file fields. This didn't work out.

My trading partner sends PO's to two different ISA#08 from a single ISA#06

for which I need to pick the two ISA#08's. I use Gentran server 5.1 for
windows (Gentran Application Integration).

Please help me out, thanks in advance.

Regards,

Vijay
