OK am I crazy or doesn't he say in the email "I use Gentran server 5.1 for
windows (Gentran Application Integration)."

There are two ways that I know of to do it in Gentran:NT server. You add
the envelope segments to the inbound map on the EDI side and you map them to
the application data on the outside. Vijay, you said you did this and it
didn't work out. Elaborate on that...did nothing come out? Did you get an
error? Did you build the segments correctly? That is the way its done.

That said, I never used to do it that way because I just use a standard
lookup rule to look up the data in the documents table that stores 99% of
useful enveloping information plus other useful stuff in that system. The
admin guide in the help will show you the table fields and how they are
populated from the envelope segments as the document is loaded.

I use Sterling Integrator now and its the same thing except that you just go
after process data with a std rule and/or xpath since there is no more
document table. Or I could paste envelope segments in the map but I am too
lazy for that.
