http://www.caqh.org/CORE_certification.php Voluntary CORE certification
demonstrates to the health care industry that the certified entity has modified
its systems to comply with the designated set of CORE operating rules. For
solution vendors, certification is specific to a given product and not the
vendor organization as a whole.

CORE Rules Certification/Endorsement

CAQH certifies and awards CORE Certification Seals to entities that create,
transmit or use the administrative transactions addressed by the CAQH CORE
Operating Rules. Voluntary CORE Certification is currently available for
entities that exchange the X12 270/271 Eligibility & Benefits Request/Response
and X12 276/277 Claim Status Inquiry/Response transactions, i.e., providers,
health plans, clearinghouses, and vendors.

Organizations that do not create, transmit or use eligibility, benefits, and
claim status data are eligible to apply for the CORE Endorser Seal.

Commitment to CORE Operating Rules
Use of the CORE operating rules/policies is voluntary. To receive a
CORE-certification Seal, organizations must sign a binding pledge to adopt,
implement and comply with CORE rules. By signing the CORE Pledge, the
organization commits to work with a CORE-authorized testing vendor to prove its
product or IT system(s) are operating in accordance with the CORE rules.
Testing must be completed within 180 days of signing the CORE Pledge. CORE
testing and certification is tailored for providers, health plans, vendors and
clearinghouses

I'll be honest, I've never heard of any "accreditations" or 'credentials' for
EDI translator software.

I'm gonna Google those items... Ok, I HAVE seen those before. I remember now,
they looked like "eye candy."

Then again, I don't see the that either CORE or EHNAC "certifies" anything
except ORGANIZATIONS.
