Hello Leah,

Yea, GDG, last time I heard that and actually worked on a mainframe was
about 12 years ago for Kaiser Permanente; not an EDI project.

Isn't it amazing how the old but reliable stuff lingers on and on and on
...... There are probably only a few of us 'old timers' left who worked
with this technology when it was NEW! Go Figure!

Cheers,

Wow, GDG, I haven't heard that in 15 years! I don't know Sterling products,
but I've heard lots of praise, I might suggest trying to use it to handle
the large volume.

Or, perhaps you could persuade your company to move to 20th (yes, I meant
20th) century technology as part of this upgrade?

And, that's the first lesson of EDI, it's always EDI at fault.

Learn it, love it.

Leah

Samantha, Ken and Lowell,

Thanks. We will setup and test both AS2 & sFTP connections and see what
works best for us.

I believe both the options are not going to solve the "batch" issue. Par
