Samantha, Thanks for the recommendation. Here is what Dillards wrote to my client:
" For EDI enabling please contact one of the following companies to initiate EDI Trading Partnership and testing: Inovis/GXS; (800) 334-2255 option 3 or [email protected] InterTrade; (800) 873-7803 Option 3 or [email protected] Dillard's does not allow interconnects to any other 3rd party EDI network. All EDI traffic must be directly on the Inovis/GXS or InterTrade network." I wonder if that restriction is even legal. If Walmart was to tell you to ship via UPS only and also require you to pay for shipping, it would probably be a restraint on trade. I can understand it if they are paying, but this smells like collusion. I remember Gottschalks tried something like this with Advantis... Could be worse, it could be iTradeNetwork.
