Fair assumption, but a lot of us "standards geeks" are overly sensitive 
about making assumptions! But, the other broad point is still valid. 
Alejandro *does* need to know if he's dealing with X12 or EDIFACT, and 
if he doesn't know the difference he's in over his head.
