This is a general response to a few questions I have had. I do want someone
here. The reason is this...I am hiring a developer for today but if I am
really doing my duty to my company what I am ultimately seeking is a successor.
I am looking for the integration developer who knows EDI best practices and
who is interested to learn our business, our customers, our integration points
and to do what BIS is for and that is to wield the technology to help the
business work smarter.

I'm not going anywhere besides Yankee Candle. I like it here. There's more
development than I can handle on my own right now but if that's all I needed
then I could call for a contractor to lighten the load. I might do that if I
can't convince the person I seek to come move to picturesque New England (did I
mention how beautiful it is here yet?)

We're an easy commute on I-91from S Vermont, S New Hampshire and Northern CT
and from points east on the Mass Pike. There are more fantastic places to
raise your kids around here than I could name if I took all day.
