Ah Canada! Do you know my first beer I ever tasted and liked was O'Keefe Ale?
I think I was 9 probably and my Dad drank PBR which I thought was vile. On a
fishing trip to Quebec my Grandfather, who had rather european notions about
child raising, gave me a small pour from an O'Keefe and I thought it was
fantastic.

Now the slug of Canadian whiskey Grandpa let me try that same trip was enough
to turn me off all whiskey for life, so far. This my husband considers to be a
serious flaw in my character moderated only by the realization that he doesn't
ever have to share that fancy scotch he loves with me.
