I am not qualified to fully review the BDS changes, but I am happy to
see this series go in, which includes the way that it gets enabled
unconditionally.

I have tested this both in DEBUG and RELEASE mode, and with and
without a -kernel param to QEMU to load the kernel from. Everything
looks fine to me
