Andrew, This topic came up before on this list. While waiting for the ReadyToBoot event seems to be the best possible option available today, it is not standard, and may not work on all systems. There is no guarantee that the SMBIOS table will be completed before the driver's ReadyToBoot event notification callback function is called.
We should probably define a new standard event for this purpose.
