Hello,
I just attempted to boot into the EDK II Shell 2.0 on my
new Samsung ATIV Smart PC 500T Tablet. The shell fails with
the following assertion:
ASSERT EFI_ERROR (Status = Invalid Parameter)
ASSERT /edk2/MyWorkSpace/MdePkg/Library/UefiMemoryAllocationLib.c(815):
!EFI_ERROR (Status)
I was able to boot the tablet with the IA32 EDK 1.0 Shell.
The UEFI BIOS parameters are:
EFI SPEC: 2.31
EFI Vendor: American Megatrends
EFI Revision: 4.653
Shouldn't the IA32 version of the UDK2010.SR1.UP1 ShellPkg 2.0 work
with this system? Is this a common failure?
