Yes, all that is used.  I really think there should have been a common
generic device type (Scsi limited to 0x1F-1 devices and has been
enough (not really that many, a device that is attachable or not, a
device who's media is removable or part of the device, having up to 4
billion device "types" would have more than been enough - could have
been registered/listed in the UEFI spec).  I see Michale has a work
around, but you really can't see the device "type" without having to
send low level commands to the device on a bus.  May be nice to have
one more attribute magnetic, optical or electronic media.    Something
like a UDF may be partitioned or may not be.  Also what about DVD
writers with packet formatted media, is that still read-only?
