Hello, I've been working on a multi-processor utility for RDMSR and WRMSR on the UEFI shell. I have them working on a real system, but they fail on Virtualbox and VMware. It appears that both virtual machines don't support the EFI_MP_SERVICES_PROTOCOL.
I'm a little disappointed because I find Virtualbox and VMware to be ideal testing envirnoments. The Virtualbox bios is up to UEFI 2.3.1 and VMware is up to UEFI 2.3.0. I configured both hypervisors to have two cores. Aren't they required to support this protocol?
