Laurie, all,

Since we've moved the wiki to the non-hosted wiki, it has been very
unresponsive for me. Pages take a long time to load and often fail to
load properly for me. Are others' experience with the new wiki
similar?
http://tianocore.sourceforge.net/wiki/Welcome

So, I mocked up a website hosted by github's free 'pages' hosting:
http://tianocore.github.io/

Currently, I only setup pages for the Welcome, UDK2014 and EDK II
pages. The other links fall back to pointing at a github based wiki
which I imported from the current wiki.

The pages seem much faster and more reliable. With this system we also
have complete control over the page formatting.

One other nice thing is that github's page hosting supports pointing
dns entries at github which would allow the url to actually be
configured to www.tianocore.org. (www.tianocore.org would not just
redirect to another page.)

One negative aspect of this is that it is not a wiki. But, github does
allow git files to edited from their webpage, and the source code can
also be modified using normal git operations since the site is a git
repository:
https://github.com/tianocore/tianocore.github.io

Feedback on either the current wiki or the mock up would be valuable.

Thanks,

-Jordan
