I have a question about the GOP protocol.
I did an application to print all graphic modes that my system can work,
and got the following list:
Graphic Modes: 17
Mode: 0, Horizontal Resolution: 320, Vertical Resolution: 200
Mode: 1, Horizontal Resolution: 320, Vertical Resolution: 240
Mode: 2, Horizontal Resolution: 512, Vertical Resolution: 384
Mode: 3, Horizontal Resolution: 640, Vertical Resolution: 350
Mode: 4, Horizontal Resolution: 720, Vertical Resolution: 400
Mode: 5, Horizontal Resolution: 1152, Vertical Resolution: 864
Mode: 6, Horizontal Resolution: 1280, Vertical Resolution: 960
Mode: 7, Horizontal Resolution: 640, Vertical Resolution: 480
Mode: 8, Horizontal Resolution: 800, Vertical Resolution: 600
Mode: 9, Horizontal Resolution: 1024, Vertical Resolution: 768
Mode: 10, Horizontal Resolution: 1280, Vertical Resolution: 1024
Mode: 11, Horizontal Resolution: 1400, Vertical Resolution: 1050
Mode: 12, Horizontal Resolution: 1600, Vertical Resolution: 1200

The problem I have is that when I try to set the mode 5, I get the
following status:
EFI_DEVICE_ERROR 7: The physical device reported an error while attempting
the operation.
My question is. Can I consider this as an hardware issue ?
