>>> My idealistic goal is very simple: >>> Create a UEFI Based Software System that can do Hardware Validation / >>> Verification in a cross platform way, such that the 64 bit Intel/AMD
Also, CHIPSEC only works on Intel x86 and x64, *NOT* AMD. (Nor Itanium.) On the LUV mailing list, Linaro is porting LUV to ARM64, including, apparently, CHIPSEC! (But no ARM32 port, AFAICT.) https://wiki.linaro.org/LEG/Engineering/luvOS Someone at AMD needs to get Yocto-based LUV ported to AMD, and port CHIPSEC to AMD, to include AMD-specific security checks. AMD is a member of Yocto, so that is hopeful. Else LUV/CHIPSEC only meets part of your cross platform goal. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y _______________________________________________ edk2-devel mailing list edk2-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/edk2-devel
