An additional suggestion from the two you already had. Ronald created a TFTP command for the UEFI Shell. The Shell command ‘tftp’ downloads file from the network. You can find the source code here: https://github.com/ARM-software/edk2/commit/10957b448885afe9cb8c9d2938fa8131b8baf7ab
At the moment, the command lives in ShellPkg/Library. I do not know yet if it is a suitable location for this command.
