You might try the newsgroup bionet.info-theory which used to have stuff
on DNA matching.
There has been no real activity on it for a few months (or have I lost
the news feed), but
it's worth a try. Otherwise its archives (no idea where) might be of
interest, or you could
try to find the sites of the previous main posters.
