Statistics is NOT a class of methodologies.
While there are a few approaches prompted by the type
of data in a given field, it is the probability
modeling which comes from the field. Formulate your
model, and then have someone who understands statistics
help you decide what to do with it. Genetic models
tend to be somewhat more complicated than many.
