Hello!

I've got an problem in using Multidimensional Scaling: SPSS gives me an
S-Stress Value, but I can't get any information about it. I've read a
book on multivariate analysis (Backhaus et al. [2000]: Multivariate
Analysemethoden), but it contains only information on stress-1 and
stress-2. It's reference to S-Stress (Schiffmann/ Reynolds/ Young
(1981): Introduction to Multidimensional Scaling) to S-stress is not
available in our library. Neither other books on statistics nor the
SPSS-Help can give me any information about it.

For any explainations or hints on articles, books, online docs... I'd be
very grateful.

PS: I'm very sorry for my terrible english...
