sure ... i'll bite

other than the fact that we use computers today ALOT ... for fast
calculations of things AND simulations (which we should never downplay the
importance of) ... seems like we are going about statistical education
about the same as we have for eons ... 

now, FOR SURE, there is a ton of information (yes, actually a ton, i
weighed it) that is readily available at almost an instant ... via the www
... which is good but, i think that typical "instruction" in the area of
statistics is bouncing along about the same as it has since i was in
graduate school ... which i have to admit is quite a many numerous lots of
years ago
