I tried accessing some of these files. The text at the top of the cited page says they are plain text, but your server wants to send them as octet-streams. For instance, for HINES which is http://core.ecu.edu/psyc/wuenschk/StatData/HINES.data Lynx reveals that the headers are HTTP/1.1 200 OK Server: Microsoft-IIS/5.0 Date: Sun, 06 Jul 2003 15:45:08 GMT Content-Type: application/octet-stream Accept-Ranges: bytes Last-Modified: Fri, 28 Jul 2000 17:03:20 GMT ETag: "07c3bbb5f8bf1:b41" Content-Length: 777 -- Stan Brown, Oak Road Systems, Cortland County, New York, USA http://OakRoadSystems.com/ It's not necessary to send me a copy of anything you post publicly, but if you do please identify it explicitly to avoid confusion. (Some mailers display CC lines on incoming messages, but mine is not one of them.) . . ================================================================= Instructions for joining and leaving this list, remarks about the problem of INAPPROPRIATE MESSAGES, and archives are available at: . http://jse.stat.ncsu.edu/ . =================================================================
