Ron, I am not sure what statistical package you
are using but it is definitely possible to have multiple dependent variables
within the repeated measures design. There are several things you need to be
careful of when doing a MANOVA as well as several limitations with the
technique (see citation below). The
dataset typically does not have to be arranged in a special manner in most
cases but you do have to specify the model correctly via the statistical
program you are using. Hope this
gets you started and good luck with your analyses. Lavori, P. (1990). ANOVA, MANOVA, my black

graduate student in marine biol. my research design features 2 within-subjects
factors and 1 between-subjects factors. i have 7 dependent variables
(measurements) that i'm measuring during each survey time. question: is it possible to analyse all 7
dependent variables at the same time using repeated measures anova? if so, how
do i arrange my dataset. i know how to arrange the dataset for analysis of only
one variable. thank you, ron |
