Joshua, I gleaned a few things from your post. I tried changing to a couple of other themes besides Human. Clear look didn't seem to work any better, Darkroom however, did, but in the end it only crashes as well. I tried removing that directory
OSError: [Errno 39] Directory not empty: '/tmp/sabayon-temp-home-zDODmA/.gconf/apps/panel/applets' and restarting and didn't seem to help. Thanks for trying!
