Hi all! I have just set up my first edubuntu server for LTS clients. The current system in use is set up with Fedora Core and as I'm moving over to edubuntu there are some problems that I cannot solve and hope to get some help over this maillist :)
Fedora Core uses /etc/gdm/PostSession/Default and /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default files when logging in and logging out from the system. I have set up the whole system on FC (statistics, login and logout scripts and users' home directory restore system) to these files. Now that I try to use the same things with edubuntu I cannot get any action from PostSession and PreSession scripts :( Tried to use some kind of temp file to echo a text to some file when users logs in and logs out with the terminal but nothing. :( Seems that those scripts are never executed. Could someone help me with this problem? I have googled and tried several examples but cannot solve this issue :( Thanks! Meelis --- [EMAIL PROTECTED]
