Thanks for the focus, Ace. My use of "you" in this context can be very dangerous. To be clear, the "you" I address in the paragraph above is that entity which has chosen this unique direction for Edubuntu rather than building on debian-edu. If there were a "boss", then that is who the "you" would be. It seems that this has been exasperating for those developers trying to fulfill the expectations of the project, and frustrating at times for those in the community trying to get it to the schools. The idea of limiting the focus is a good one.
